In fact doubly secure. Check Free offers all their users a transaction guaranty as further described in the disclosures for bill pay. In addition The Marblehead Bank has an excellent ID Theft Protection program that is available at no cost to our accountholders.

Value Added Service:
Easy Bill Pay can save you time and money and is available at no extra cost to Admirals Club and Safe Harbor Checking account customers. In addition the bank has developed a new checking account, Captain’s Plus which is specially designed for internet banking and bill pay customers. Sign Me Up:

To sign up for Easy Bill Pay, you must first have a Marblehead Bank Checking Account or stop in the bank to open a checking account. Remember several of the accounts include bill pay in their features. You must also have internet banking with the bank or stop in the bank to sign up. This process is very easy and there is no charge for internet banking. Once you have your checking account and have signed up for internet banking, you simply have to access our internet banking site through our web site, enter your security information, click on the checking account or accounts that you want to use for bill pay. At the checking account page you will be directed to click on bill pay. You will then need to carefully read all disclosures, enter the information requested and then start your bill paying adventure.

Special Note:
Please ensure that you have sufficient funds available in your account for all of your scheduled bill payments. Check Free, our bill pay provider will make all of your payments as scheduled and will send a request electronically to our bank to withdraw funds from your account. If at that time you have insufficient funds, Check Free will charge a fee against your account and our current NSF fees will also be charged against your account. Refer to your bill pay and account disclosures for further information.

Avoiding Overdrafts:
You can avoid insufficient fund fees by frequently monitoring your checking account balance on line through internet banking. The best safeguard against insufficient fund fees is to have your checking account linked to an Overdraft Signature Line of Credit or a Check Guard Program that sweeps funds from a bank savings account. Our customer service personnel can further discuss these programs with you.
